Here is a project I am finally finishing today on my Birthday May 5,  2011.

I was looking for something fun to edit. I had my little dog MacTinkers groomed by Wanda and her assistant Nelson. They both came out to my home in March while I was on vacation for a week.

This video shot on the JVC GZ HD7 in full automatic.

Edited with Sony Vegas Pro 9.0e.

Music by the Music Bakery.

Makenzie Finlay Tinkers aka “MacTinkers is a male West Highland White Terrier. MacTinkers is now four years old, and is the love of my life.

I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did editing it. I am on vacation this week, and wanted something fun to put together checking out the upgrades with the edit suite.

Please note this is not a commercial project. I took no money or trade for this video project. This video was made for my producing, shooting, editing and interviewing experience.

Relax At The Beach Project

I recorded this sound in 1991 at Sycamore Cove Beach, California. The original intent was to have library beach sounds for various audio and video projects.

I have produced a CD that has been given to many people to play for relaxation purposes in their homes and offices. Because this audio recording has been so popular, I thought I would share these beach sounds with you all.

See if you too find this environmental recording relaxing to listen to.

Sony Audio Cassette field recorder, type IV metal tape used for mastering

Microphones are two Sony 730s placed about 25 feet apart at a height of 8 inches above sand.

The Wildrose School Project

This is a true story of how and why the Wildrose School closed due to lack of children to attend. Theresa Marie Lynch interviews School Administrator Marlyn Vatne as he takes us on a tour of the Wildrose School, K – 12 that he gave his working 36 year career to.

Wildrose, North Dakota will celebrate its 100 year centennial in July of 2010.

Please enjoy this very interesting true story of how this little town of 135 people in Wildrose, North Dakota struggles to keep this school functional for the community and surrounding area of rural North West North Dakota.

MARÍA ELENA DURAZO
Executive Secretary -Treasurer
Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO

Wisconsin’s fight is our fight. It is a national attack on workers’ rights and our American democracy.

Saturday, February 26, at noon, there was a rally in front of every statehouse and in every major city to stand in solidarity with the people of Wisconsin!

Eliot Fons was one of those terrific persons you never forget…

I first knew Eliot working at WMTV in Madison Wisconsin…

We worked on The Weekend Starts Now With Ben Sidren…

I lost track of Eliot in 1978 and caught up with him at NBC Burbank CA a few years back out in the field. I saw him from time to time in the NBC Commissary and we always picked it where we left it.

I learned this evening about Eliot’s demise and it saddens me greatly…

Eliot was one hell of a photog… He will be missed…

Many thanks to “The Harry Bridges Project”!

Or in High Def

I came across this wonderful tune by David Mora – “Harry Bridges Mambo.” I thought it might make an interesting slide show.

On May 1, 2007, I, Lisa J. Kassner photographed the “March and Rally for the Rights of Immigrant Workers” on the local “National Day of Action.” Victor Narrow, UCLA Labor Center, organized the rally with local Los Angeles Labor volunteers providing security. The Labor security volunteers are seen wearing bright colored yellow arm bands for the march to MacArthur Park.

The march began at 2:00 PM when Cardinal Mahoney arrived in his gold colored SUV. The media mobbed Cardinal Mahoney for an interview and shortly there after, the march began. Many Los Angeles Police Officers on bicycles and in police cars provided escort for the march.

At MacArthur Park, it was a lovely warm spring day with blues skies and sun. Many mothers with strollers were in the park with their families. Telemundo was there with remote trucks and a covered canopy signing autographs for Telemundo’s fans and viewers. A short while later the rally marchers arrived entering the park hot, but enthusiastic.

About 5:30 pm I went up to Alavarado Blvd. There I took digital still photos of Aztec Indians dancing in costume surrounded by families watching the activities.

While I was there at the Immigrant Labor Rally, it was a lovely peaceful demonstration. I left the rally shortly before arrival of Los Angeles Police Department officers. Altogether I took over 1,100 high quality digital still images.

I have been researching the future of what will happen following the current “Digital Information Age” as we move towards the “Conceptual Age”. To meet that challenge I am proposing the creation of a Labor Channel. I have copyrighted a treatment for a union reality series. Please also read my research in development: “Synergy verses Permaculture, Information Age moving towards the Conceptual Age”. All this information and more is available here at this website.

I have been experimenting with streaming High Definition quality Video at at http://vimeo.com/user456398/videos I am most impressed with this new technology of streaming on demand. Please click on the link above and select one of my videos streaming in high def. Let the video load some and be sure to click full screen and turn your speakers up.

The time has come to include another video from YouTube and high definition Vimeo  Streaming.

I am including my idea in presentation form
